Plant Manager - Onsite

Valencia, CA
An industry-leading company in Valencia is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity. The role requires strong leadership and extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and precision sheet metal. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, machining, assembly, mechanical engineering, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

Set strategic goals and make operational decisions.
Manage day-to-day business activities and monitor efficiency.
Supervise and provide feedback to staff across departments.
Improve business procedures to align with organizational objectives.
Oversee procurement, material allocation, and resource coordination.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective customer support processes.
Manage budgets to promote profitability.
Revise policies and maintain external vendor relationships.
Analyze data and performance metrics to evaluate company performance.
Ensure compliance with regulations and legal standards.
Oversee production activities, including prototypes and repeat orders.
Collaborate with Safety Manager, Quality Manager, and HR on safety, ISO certification, training, and performance issues.
Maintain knowledge of precision sheet metal machinery, specifically Amada NC laser/punch and Brake Presses.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar role .
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Knowledge of industry regulations and business functions (e.g., supply chain, finance).
Experience with data analysis, performance metrics, and business software (e.g., ERP, CRM, Six Sigma).
BSc/BA in business administration or a related field; MSc/MA is a plus.
