Job Description

Act as the primary design support for the SAXX Product Creation team, helping to drive the process side of art creation. This position partners in bringing to life new apparel, print, and graphic concepts to meet the needs of the SAXX consumer, guiding and defining the SAXX brand in the marketplace to drive sales and growth for the company. Responsibilities include organizing and managing CAD and color support, overseeing strike-off and lab-dip approvals, preparing production-ready files, and coloring assigned prints and patterns seasonally.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Build and maintain color palettes for all product categories under the guidance of the Design Team. Support the creation of spec sheets and repeat patterns. Assist with the PLM/Strike-Off/Lab-Dip process within Centric. Manage SharePoint data and file organization. Participate in photo sample review processes and approvals. Contribute to all aspects of seasonal design as assigned. Develop colorway options for products, trims, and prints as needed. Adapt to new technologies and responsibilities to meet business needs. Take ownership of work, meet deadlines, operate independently, communicate clearly, problem-solve, and work effectively under pressure. Provide and accept constructive feedback professionally and implement necessary changes. Design SAXX-relevant prints, patterns, and graphics as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a relevant field or demonstrable equivalent skill level (1-2 years as a Jr. Designer) in Apparel, Textile, or Graphic Design. A portfolio demonstrating design skills. Balanced creative and organizational skills. Software Requirements: Bonus: Procreate, 3D Software.
