Position HR Intern Location Admin Building Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal Shift Days Description Position Summary The Human Resources Intern supports various administrative and daily activities of the HR department. This internship provides hands-on experience in HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Support new hire onboarding by preparing paperwork, coordinating/conducting orientation, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Assist with maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Research and support HR projects as needed. Assist in tracking and organizing HR metrics and reports. Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Support the HR team in compliance and documentation efforts, including policy updates and record-keeping. Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support HR and Recruitment functions. *Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. This is an unpaid internship Experience, Education, Certifications/Licenses Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Prior internship or relevant coursework in human resources, recruitment, or employee relations is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
