Position Overview

We’re seeking a Licensed Electrical Journeyman in Connecticut to join our Solar Division. You’ll work alongside our solar installation team to ensure safe, code-compliant electrical work on residential and light commercial solar projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical wiring for residential and commercial solar PV systems
• Perform main panel upgrades, system interconnections, and conduit runs
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and plans
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and solar installers
• Ensure all work meets NEC and local building codes
• Mentor and guide electrical apprentices as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

Requirements

• Valid Connecticut E-1 or E-2 Electrical License (required)
• 2+ years of field experience — solar experience preferred
• Knowledge of NEC and local code requirements
• Ability to work safely on rooftops and ladders
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
