Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support the Unclaimed Property Group within Operational Accounting. This contingent role involves performing moderately complex operational support tasks, engaging with internal clients, and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a professional setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry tasks to support the Unclaimed Property Group.
Provide operational accounting support.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
Handle moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Escalate non-routine questions or issues to supervisor.
Interact with internal client personnel regarding various data-related matters.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Operational Accounting support experience or an equivalent combination of education, military service, or consulting/training experience.
At least 6 months of experience in a professional environment.
Data Entry experience is required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (can include training or coursework).
Must be comfortable using technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in financial services is a strong plus.
Experience meeting deadlines and working under urgency.
Fast typing skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Attention to detail is essential.
Accounting background is helpful but not required.
