People & HR Data Analyst - People Analytics Job ID: 97547 Your Impact As a People Analytics and Measurement Data Analyst, you will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to extract, clean, and analyze the firm's people data. You will develop fluency in the firm's people systems and combine this with your analytical knowledge to help translate business questions into rigorous analysis. You will be responsible for supporting projects that examine the firm's feedback and evaluation processes, headcount planning, staffing, feedback, surveys, and organizational health and performance metrics. Additionally, you will communicate the results of your analysis to internal clients, helping them understand the insights and suggesting potential actions. Your Growth The People Analytics and Measurement team comprises over seventy data and analytics professionals serving internal firm customers. The Business Intelligence group handles reporting, performance metrics, and descriptive analytics to help understand and optimize people operations and measure strategic initiatives. The team collaborates closely with other departments to drive innovation in people analytics. Your Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's or graduate degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, social science research, operations research, econometrics, or a related field. At least 1 year of relevant professional experience demonstrating success as an individual contributor within a team. Strong analytical and data management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively under pressure and shifting priorities. Flexible working style with a willingness to collaborate remotely and work independently as needed. Excellent communication skills to interpret and convey analysis results to diverse audiences. Technical experience with analytical tools such as R (preferred), Python, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar. Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval from relational databases. Experience with exploratory data analysis and manipulating large datasets in Excel. Understanding of the implications of data analysis and ability to handle ambiguity. Experience working with real-world data from production databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, including data cleaning and preparation. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue tracking tools (Jira, Trello), and version control (git, GitHub).
