We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. We currently have an opportunity for a Relationship Manager in Banking with a Hong Kong-based bank that also includes overseas branches in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Founded in 1933, the bank employs over 1,900 people and manages assets exceeding $300 billion. The Relationship Manager is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Working independently, as well as under the direction of the manager, to develop new business that adds value to the branch.
  • Maintaining the branch's established market presence.
  • Independently developing prospective customers.
  • Compiling and analyzing financial data and information to prepare credit memos.
  • Conducting industry and market analysis.
  • Identifying credit risks and other key risk factors to contribute to the loan decision-making process.
  • Preparing internal credit memos and coordinating with the head office credit management department to secure approvals.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with customers within the parameters defined by credit decisions.

Specific qualifications for theposition include :

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field (an advanced degree is a plus).
  • At least 5 years of related experience.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial industry, business development techniques, and credit decision processes.
  • Excellent credit and financial analysis skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is a Must.

Pay Rate Range : $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
