Job Description

Our client, a trucking firm, is seeking an Auto Shop Cleaner to join their team. As an Auto Shop Cleaner, you will be part of the maintenance team supporting a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Auto Shop Cleaner

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $18 per hour

What's the Job?

• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing regular cleaning tasks.
• Wash vehicles using brushes, power washers, and cleaning agents to ensure they are spotless.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum shop floors, technician stalls, and customer areas.
• Remove trash, debris, and scrap parts from the shop and lot.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed to support the team.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with cleaning in an industrial setting, preferably in an auto shop.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as power washers and industrial-sized brooms.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed.
