Job Description

Havas Health Toronto is looking for a conceptual and detail-oriented Art Director to join our Creative Toronto team. You’ll collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and account leads to develop impactful campaigns across a variety of healthcare/pharma brands. Your role will focus on bringing ideas to life through engaging visuals—across digital, print, and video platforms —with a strong emphasis on brand storytelling and tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality creative concepts and campaigns that translate across multiple formats: websites, visual aids, leave behinds, banners, social ads, instructional videos, TV, radio, and more.
  • Design compelling layouts, graphics, and UI assets with a strong understanding of brand guidelines and user experience.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and cross-functional teams to ensure creative consistency and strategic alignment.
  • Present ideas with clarity and rationale to both internal teams and clients.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative reviews, adding visual insight and elevating the overall quality of work.
  • Adapt creative direction to meet the needs of various audiences and platforms.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of art direction/design experience in a creative agency environment (healthcare/pharma experience is a plus).
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of print and digital marketing materials , including conceptual thinking, campaign work, and execution across platforms.
  • Excellent visual design, layout, and typog raphy skills.
  • Solid understanding of production processes and asset handoff for both print and digital deliverables.
  • Video editing experience is a strong asset but not required.
  • Highly collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Able to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly.
